Daily Duties at Target Sourcing Services:
-Supervised and managed the $37 million Department Store group from product development, sourcing, to production monitoring for TJX Hardlines categories. (TJMaxx, Marshalls, Homegoods, Winners/Homesense-Canada, TKMAXX-U.K) -Product categories include Christmas trims, Decorative gifts, Storage, Furniture, Bath accessories, Decorative Houseware, Desk Accessories, Frames, Decorative Floral. -Developed competitive merchandise selections and pricing appropriate for the store clients. Organized 10-12 Buying missions annually in Hong Kong particpated in by vendors and buyers. Sourced products, determined vendor selection in the Philippines and negotiated costs. -Follow through product orders from purchase to shipment by daily communication with U.S office, local vendors, buyers. -Supervised junior team members in the department. -Managed vendor social and factory compliance as required by store clients. -Created and maintained a global electronic quotesheet format for use by global offices. -Collaborated with cross-functional teams such as Bureau Veritas Product Laboratory Testing, Quality Control, Buyers, Vendors and New York counter parts in the course of a product cycle.
