Daily Duties at Broward Community College:

Collective bargaining with two bargaining units. While trying to equitably resolve employee issues and concerns prior to grievance through the Labor Management Process. Division was responsible for all Labor Relations for the City, including collective bargaining for two bargaining units, all grievance procedures for the City, assisting employees and management with conflict resolution, and providing the opportunities explore innovative and cooperative joint approaches to organizational effectiveness. Reported to the Director of Employee Relations. ? Primary note-taker and drafter of contract language for all five unions' collective bargaining sessions. ? Prepared all Labor Relations Commission memoranda, ordinances, resolutions, grievances, settlement agreements and arbitration documents. ? Assisted with grievance investigations. ? Scheduled all pertinent union related meetings and negotiation sessions. ? Maintained all confidential personnel and investigation files.
