Daily Duties at Balmar Printing & Graphics:
• Supervised five file room clerks for large Intellectual Property Law Firm, servicing over 300 firm employees. • Managed incoming file requests by e-mail and telephone. Received incoming mail and reviewed each piece to identify items to be routed to the Docketing department. • Managed offsite storage system by overseeing data entry process and preparing files for off-site storage. Implemented offsite storage retention plan to provide cost savings for storage fees. • Provided training for firm and internal staff for use of computerized file tracking system. • Coordinated complete remodel of file room space, including temporarily relocating all files to three different locations, and providing extra staff to continue daily workflow. • Assisted Office Service Manager with overseeing staff of 17, handling a network of services including facsimiles, messenger requests & reproduction.
