Daily Duties at Matchlogic Excite@Home:

• Senior Engineering Manager: In charge of R&D, requirements development/clarification, feature prioritization, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, development, QA, releases, production, change control, configuration management and support for three product lines. Supervisor of QA manager, three technical leads, 15 engineers, and 7 support technicians. • Program Director: Led Excite@Home’s enterprise Year 2000 program encompassing four companies and five international joint ventures. Responsible for leading over 100 team members at program peak. Developed project processes for planning and training of Y2K assessments, risk management, resolutions, validation, deployment, defect tracking, auditing, and user support. • Engineering Services Manager: Responsible for lifecycle and support of all business, engineering, and quality applications / systems, Oracle based Issue Tracking and Workflow system. • Project Management Manager: Project management, business process, and infrastructure consultant for all engineering and business departments. Established Program Management Office for managing cross-functional projects. Supervisor of project managers and coordinators. • Methodologies Manager: Developed and implemented engineering and business processes, project prioritization and tracking/reporting processes, QA procedures, change, configuration and release management, and training programs. Trained the entire company on these new processes.
