Daily Duties at Florida Mentor:
Managed day-to-day operations for 6 bed ICF/DD. You will work with residents to assess their care needs, assist in planning and implementing interventions to meet those needs, assist in coordinating services, and monitoring and evaluating the case management plan against the resident’s personal health care goals. Provide supervision, orientation, direction, and in-services to direct care staff, Prepare and maintain consumer records and reports. Increased staff productivity and technical ability through effective training. Earned respect with a proven ability to obtain high performance levels from employees while maintaining a pleasant working atmosphere. Responsible for assessing staff adherence to policy standards. Assess and monitor consumer development and abilities, Set and monitor staff schedules to reflect consumer’s needs for training, care and supervision. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, safety committee meetings, support/habilitation plans, facility management, and risk management.
