Daily Duties at Nebraska State Penitentary:
Provide and maintain security and supervision throughout the institution, this position started as a correctional officer. Assist in crisis related issues and conflict resolution. Coordinate daily activities, training, evaluating, and managing performance and development of inmates and staff. Responsible for operational and service excellence. Negotiation tactics and Bomb threats training. Certified in the Nebraska NLET, and NCIC Telecommunication Systems. Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment and work independently, handling several stress related issues.
