Daily Duties at Fed Ex Logistics:
Management of the Logistics pipeline as a synchronized, integrated process – from raw material supply to finished goods distribution via Air/Surface Expedites. Set up and Conducted Request For Quote (RFQ) in support of General Motors forward planning activities. Market test, data gathering for all mode bids, and maintain lane detail. Resolved issues. Validated reports, identifying procedural scenarios. Direct Bidding, processed Awarded Bids. Monitored shipments Air/Ground. Tracked/Traced Shipment ensuring all shipments met assigned protect times using cost effective mode possible. Organized 2-3Day shipping. Investigated, resolved and documented/internal shipment discrepancies. Delegated for communications Dispatchers Routes/Delivering notifications. Processed shipment Invoice Labels (via email/facsimile to Shippers). Resolved scheduling problems. Collected/analyzed information. Prepared reports. Compiled/summarized prod activities. Logged/recorded Downtime logs. Updated/Maintained Customer Database-shipping Labels. Overall support arm to the Program Manager and Sales Manager in planning, steering and controlling of customer program development especially under consideration of cost and timing.
