Daily Duties at Island Club Resort Developement Inc:

• Design, and implementation of Network facility multi tiered wired and wireless networks for resort development company utilizing a high bread network with a Metro Ethernet head-in for our back bone, Juniper Router/Firewall which splits our corporate users from ISP and VOIp customers in our 720 unit townhouse community. Utilizing Foudry Big Iron and Fast Iron Routers and Layer 3 switches on our Single Mode Fiber Back Bone that distributes data and voice over a 110 acre campus to SMC layer 3 switches that bring fiber connections to the D mark of every building on the property. • Installation and Maintenance of Windows 2000/ 2003 servers on Dell Power 2850 and SC 430. • RAID installation, monitoring, and maintenance for all servers. Utilizing RAID 1 on Operating Systems and RAID 5 with striping for DATA. All drives hot swappable on Dell 2850 RAID arrays. Live Shadow Copying of OS performed in real time in case of disk failures due to consistent power brown outs at remote locations. • Active Directory and Exchange SQL 2003 server and user maintenance. • Backup Monitoring and Maintenance with Veritas Backup Exec 9.0 and 10.0 • Disaster Recovery planning for corporate headquarters and remote offices. • Monitoring and maintenance of Malicious files and virus protection from the internet and email attack using McAfee antivirus product suite which include Groupshield for exchange and McAfee antivirus Netshield for servers and work stations. • Combining data, phone, and television utilizing various next generation technologies. Multi location V-LANS, Wi-Fi structured networks. VoIP PBX system with servers, and IP TV solutions. • Disaster data recovery solutions utilizing Varitas Backup Software using incremental, and full backup tape methods, also off site vault storage for monthly and weekly tape backups, also utilizing Ontrack easy recovery pro software for accidental deletions. • Focusing on Wireless networking to distribute various multimedia broadcast. • Integrating custom in house reservation system. • Remote Access using RDP and VPN tunnels between our other office in Central Florida. • Administration and technical adviser for our Telephone, ISP, and Cable Utilities company Four Points Utilities. • Telco Administration for residential community managed by Island Club resort. • Data security policies, design and implementation. Remote connectivity, and fiber optic Ethernet design, engineering, and implementation. • Made all Budgeting, and purchasing recommendation for all communications projects. Reduced ROI for fiber ring design from 3 million to 1.5 million by reducing amount of distribution switches from 720 to 93 layer 3 switches without compromising the redundancy of the network. • Project supervisor and manager for staff of 15 consisting of 6 software developers, 1 electronics engineer, 4 low voltage technicians and 2 help desk technicians and 2 subcontracted Network engineers. • Acted as Technical liaison between vendors and management
