Hired as purchasing manager, promoted to general manager in 9 months. Essential functions: purchasing, supervised 28 employees, responsible for the production of the manufacturing of wood stakes used in the surveying field. Other duties include sales, customer service, personnel, and dispatch. Implemented new techniques that enabled production to be increased by 25% allowing the company to make more profit in less time than in the past with other managers. Achieved the respect of suppliers by my ability to negotiate factory direct purchasing, thus cutting cost 15% on all products purchased for retail sales.
