Daily Duties at American Fence Corporation:
Hired as buyer/planner for 24 retail locations across the United States. Responsible for 100% procurement for branch needs. Communication with suppliers, branch managers and inventory specialist to keep inventory levels at optimum levels to avoid out of stock sales. The drafting, review and comparison of specifications and prices of competitive items. The negotiation of contract terms, conditions, and specifications. The evaluation of proposals, bids, and quotations. Communicating effectively with coworkers, branch managers, suppliers and salespeople. Assisting in developing a variety of supplies to offer to customers. Serve as a resource regarding products and coordinating orders for vehicles, materials, and other capital equipment.
