Daily Duties at Pinacor Corporation:

Hired as buyer for the Compaq server line. Manage $100 million dollar inventory. Essential functions include: procurement of product to historic run rate and sales forecasts. Manage inventory to hit quarterly objectives. Negotiate and drive opportunity buys. Aid and develop purchasing inventory and distribution strategy. Management of supplier driven buy-in programs. Lead supplier relationships on a daily basis. Management of operational line items as it relates to category profit and loss. Resolve accounts payable and distribution discrepancies. Re-negotiate contract terms as they relate to operational issues. Assist Category Strategy in determining appropriate category product lines and products. Communicate and work as a supportive member of the cross-functional category team. Product stocking levels and product de-stocking levels.
