Daily Duties at Cibco:
RESPONSIBILITIES Developed and implemented HR strategy, budgets and business plans with emphasis on process, policy and procedure development, benefit/compensation program development and technical staffing. Oversaw all aspects of daily human resources functions and traveled 15 -20% of the time, providing support to operations in multiple countries. ¤ Advised management and employees on handling employee relations issues. ¤ Advised Executive Management on complex HR issues including HR impact of current and future business strategies. ¤ Hired, trained and managed HR team. Hired 70+ highly qualified IT Engineers, at start-up of company. Reduced expenses 40% by implementing alternative recruitment strategy. ¤ Trained managers in Performance Management, Behavioral Interviewing and People Management. Supervised Staff Training. ¤ Supervised management of outsourced payroll, including W2s and federal / state tax filings. ¤ Managed vendors and benefit providers; Supervised benefits administration including medical, life and disability insurance, 401(k), vacation, sick leave, leave accruals and tuition reimbursement. ¤ Created compensation program from the ground up that included job analysis and comparison, positional benchmarking, and salary range development. Participated in industry compensation reviews. Established standardized competitive pay levels for technical staff that improved retention by 50%. ¤ Partnered with Executive Management in developing Diversity strategy; ensured consistent application of company policy, adhering to EEO/AAP guidelines. ¤ Created metrics based HR reports for Executive Management. ¤ Wrote HR Policy manual, Employee Handbook. ¤ Ensured compliance with state and federal employment, compensation, immigration laws.
