Daily Duties at American Express Co.:
Manage full-time campus recruiting and summer internship programs including: interviewing, reviewing resumes and analyzing skills of candidates fit to match with best open positions. Develop and collaborate on new sell strategies for increasing response rates resulted in a 54% lift in 2005. Design and facilitate Hiring Manager Training sessions. Analyzed the impact of new hire matching process on recruiting results. Incorporated learning in new recruiting strategies that drive candidate response rates. Conducted performance tracking and analysis of major offers to measure program effectiveness. Tracked key metrics and conducted pre and post hiring analysis. Analyzed results and revised business-planning goals assumptions as appropriate. Streamline recruiting processes for maintaining and increasing efficiency through the development and management of relationships with schools and career development offices of multiple Universities. Collaborate with Human Resource partners to design and facilitate Blue Box recruiting initiatives i.e. using competency and behavioral based questions to drive results) Act as liaison between full-time hires, summer interns and hiring managers to evaluate progress toward achieving optimal performance. Engage in interviewing process including reviewing, screening and conducting second round interviews.
