Daily Duties at City Of New York: Nyc Police Department:

Perform administrative duties of moderate to complex difficulty involving handling confidential departmental coorespondence and private citizen information. Preparation and data entry of department forms while conducting investigational interviews with complainants (reporters of crimes) in efforts of preparing complaint reports, aided cards, vehicle accident reports, domestic violence forms and ACS/ Child protective services reports. Answering of precinct switchboard. Notifying supervisors of complaints regarding quality of life issues, unsafe or hazardous conditions, complaints being made against members of the department followed by dispatching patrol officers and or notifications to the proper precincts or city agencies to access and correct condition. Served as Precinct Shop Steward / DC37 Union Representative for local 1549 Payroll Clerk: Manually processed employee time reports detailing overtime, leaves of absence, sick reports, night shift differential and military leave tracking for (129) Police Officers for PMS processing. Answered inquiries related to payroll matters from uniformed members of service concerned and supervisors preparing personnel evaluations. Roll Call Clerk :Scheduled precinct personnel utilizing manual preparation and data entry of assignments for Uniformed and Civilian personnel for duty, patrol, court appearances, as well as upcoming and short notice emergency events. Notifying concerned personnel of administrative and emergency changes in schedules.
