Daily Duties at Sytech Corporation:
Primarily responsible for recruiting: identify candidates for all open positions via internet posting/newspaper advertisement responses and internet resume database search access; applicant screening; interview scheduling; previous employment and reference verification; develop and maintain strong professional relationships with staffing agencies to aide in a successful recruiting process; analyze recruiting needs and develop specific departmental recruiting strategies to support the organizational structure; build and preserve pools of qualified candidates; employee relations: maintain open communication and a positive relationship with employees to promote employee satisfaction and morale; provide managers and employees with policy interpretation and act as a resource for a variety of requests for information; benefits & COBRA administration: research employee benefit plans and vendors; assist in the management of the benefit plan renewal process; serve as primary contact for plan vendors and employees; gather employee data and analyze the processing of monthly billings; design and distribute communication materials to enhance understanding of the company's benefit package, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions; respond to employee enrollment & claim inquiries; provide COBRA continuation notifications; analyze and maintain 401(k) reports; update and report 401(k) elections, changes, contributions and loans; administer leave balance reports to management staff; administrative duties include: process new hires and terminations; conduct new hire orientations; execute checklists for terminated employees; conduct exit interviews; government reporting; building access management; ID badge/key administration and entry/exit access reports; maintain and edit company website career page and employee intranet; perform as assistant Facility Security Officer: process and transmit initial and renewal government security clearance applications for background investigations, reinstatements, changes and terminations; create visit request letters; maintain accurate validation listing; report adverse information; conduct security briefings; maintain facility and personnel compliance as regulated by the NISPOM and field security officer
