Daily Duties at Art Institute Of Washington:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Dean of Academic Affairs and Academic Directors; maintain faculty personnel files and information databases; maintain executive calendar by scheduling and revising appointments and meetings; record meeting minutes; produce informational and remittal correspondence; reserve and confirm various reservations and executive travel; plan and coordinate graduation commencement logistics; maintain payroll data and generate quarterly/annual faculty appointment letters in accordance with changes in salary and course load; track leave requests and balances; serve as initial point of contact for the Academic Affairs office by servicing walk-in students, parents and faculty seeking guidance and assistance from the department directors and/or the Dean, supervise department student workers; supply live support for main department telephone line; receive and distribute mail, parcels and special deliveries; organize catered meetings and student social events; greet and escort all guests visiting the Dean or Directors; convert and systemize history of paper syllabi into soft copy files; perform other special projects as assigned
