Daily Duties at New Age Homes, Inc:
Developed projects Scope of Work, forecasting, budgeting and reviewing proposals for subcontractors. Procured permits. Reviewed construction plans and performed material take-off lists.Utilized TurboCad, in house, to prepare engineering drawings to construction specifications, fulfilling all building department and code requirements. Worked with, outsourced, engineering for drawing approval.Supervised and managed field production overseeing all phases of construction and ensuring completion of work in accordance with specified standards. Enforced compliance of local and state building codes.Selected, hired, supervised and managed up to 60 subcontractors on any given project. Held regular construction meetings to ensure projects remained on-track. Procured all resources and materials for projects, especially with regard to special orders. Researched and negotiated best prices.Introduced safety constraints and safety training to jobsite. Adhered to OSHA requirements.
