Daily Duties at Je Sverdrup:

Perform evaluations, inspections and troubleshooting on mechanical, power generation and control systems for facilities processing multi-million dollar satellites and space craft, within the guidelines of JE Sverdrup’s ISO certified processes and business strategy. Coordinate and integrate facility and operation schedules to provide seamless and continuous processing from booster delivery through launch. Facilitate status and work progression to meet mission milestones. Job function required Security Clearance.Project implementation requires interfacing with Contracts, Systems Engineering and Vendors. Requires submittal of time and cost estimates, resource allocation, engineering orders, and schedule updates. Coordinated and integrated schedules using Microsoft Project 2000.Create and facilitate PowerPoint presentations for milestone reviews and briefings, which include Corrective Action Boards, Material Review Boards and Technical Interface Meetings regarding equipment status, performance or configuration. Coordinate and perform mission readiness inspections with facility managers. Facilitate working groups that consist of internal management, Engineering, Boeing, AF personnel and NASA affiliates. Duties include real time facility support to space launch operation and processing. Technical support to local technicians and facility managers. Submittals include: Request for Services, Requirement Statements and Budgetary Estimates. Resolve discrepancies to keep equipment performing to requirements using knowledge of blueprints, manufacturer‘s specifications, industry standards, troubleshooting efforts, preventative measures, corrective and reliability centered maintenance. Facility equipment includes mechanical systems: cranes, elevators, hoists, hydraulics, motors, generators and compressors; power generation and control systems: pneumatic, electrical and software programming. Interface daily with internal customers: area mechanics and technicians, Safety, Facility Managers, Configuration management and Quality.
