Daily Duties at Ge Capital Mortgage Services:

Reported to Senior Vice President as upper management team leader representing Houston Corporate Services and Operations Department. Management / budgeting responsibilities for call center operations with over 1000 employees, occupying over 210,000 square feet of office space on eleven floors of multi-tenant building. Additional responsibilities encompassed managing the same functions for offices in Dallas, Texas and Alexandria, Virginia. Specific responsibilities included facility space planning, construction and renovation projects, office and workstation renovations, internal relocation, communications and electrical cabling, mailroom, on and off-site records management, support services such as fleet management, facility copy center and convenience copiers, security, PBX Operators / telecommunications, receptionist, food services, fitness center, administrative purchasing, contracting of operational vendor services. Created job descriptions where none existed. Managed staff of company and contract personnel. Accomplishments: ? Liaison to the property management company on various company owned and leased properties. ? Managed an annual budget of over five million dollars and consistently reduced operational costs. ? Relocated offices in Dallas, Texas and Alexandria, Virginia to Houston, Texas. Liquidated all non-essential furnishings and equipment, and negotiated a reasonable buy-out agreement on remaining lease contracts. ? Managed travel arrangements and coordinated logistics for all on and offsite meetings for Houston offices. ? Served on committees and worked with other company Operations Managers to coordinate disaster recovery and emergency response programs, and standardize corporate services, purchasing, and facility standards for Houston, Texas; San Bernardino, California; St. Louis, Missouri; and Cherry Hill, New Jersey locations through the establishment of authorized vendor networks and benchmarking practices. ? Monitored all out-sourced Corporate Services and Operations Department related services. ? Relocated customer service department of the Houston call center to San Bernardino, California. ? Primary contact for vendor selection and reviewed all appropriate vendor invoicing for payment
