Daily Duties at Wayne State University, Department Of Sociology:

My teaching philosophy is to help students conceptualize and theorize issues that are relevant to any subject matter. Essentially I teach students how to think about issues in social science. Taught 3 Sociology courses Courses Taught to Undergraduate Students - Introduction to Sociology & Social Problems (45+ Students in Lecture Hall) Courses Taught to Graduate Students - Sociological Theory (~25 Students) Prepared and presented lectures. Led discussions, explained sociological concepts and instigated discussion around examples and concepts. Developed multiple choice, short answer quizzes and exams. Graded student papers and assigned final course grades.
