Daily Duties at S&S Distributors, Ltd.:
Created and administered HR and departmental policies, services, and programs. Consulted with managers and members to coach and counsel employees on how to improve productivity and increase performance—essentially to assist employees in reaching peak performance. Managed performance evaluation, compensation, employee benefits and recruitment programs. Managed workforce training and development: assisted employees in identifying training programs that will help them carryout their jobs in according to company goals. HRM (Human Resource Management) Analyst , 01/1999-05/2000 Completed organizational Analysis on the nature and state of the company, studying organizational structures, management span-of-control, surveying employees to gain deeper understanding of morale & productivity concerns. Based on findings, recommended new organizational structure & methods by which management could improve communication with employees, Wrote salary scales and guidelines for disciplinary procedures, as well as guidelines of expected behavior and job descriptions Suggested ways to improve performance, productivity, and profit. For example, I showed how there business processes were not contributing to the efficient functioning of each department. Suggested team building techniques ways in which people within the company could work more efficiently. Documented informal rules, processes; talked to department heads concerning how they did business and complied these processes in written form so that others could have access to them for future use. Developed personnel policies and procedures.
