Daily Duties at Home Properties:
Develop, plan and implement the budget to include charting the overall financial performance of the property. Handle record keeping and reporting responsibilities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Maintain accurate records of income and expenses. Process invoices and payroll. Ensure timely rent collections, rent postings and bank deposits. Handle late notices and evictions as required on delinquent rents. Monitor and maintain effective internal control over financial and operational activities in compliance with Best Practice policies and guidelines. Oversee customer service and resident relations. Oversee maintenance department practices to include work orders, apartment move-ins, move-outs and turnovers. Oversee vendor/contractor relations. Hire, train, motivate, coach, develop supervise, discipline and terminate staff in order to achieve the operational goals of the property. Oversee and maintain all new lease and lease renewal practices to include the resident selection and approval process. Prepare and implement marketing plans, supervise completion of marketing survey, analyze rental trends and track advertising effectiveness. Oversee marketing outreach to include interacting with neighborhood groups and community organizations. Evaluate and set the standard for product preparation, curb appeal and general appearance of the community.
