Migrated a Windows NT 4.0-based network over to a Windows 2000-based network with Windows 2000 Professional clients. Used Terminal Services for remote administration of servers. Setup data protection by using Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition software. Automated data backups with Backup Exec 8.5 and a tape autoloader. Used Norton Ghost to image hard drives and place new PCs into production quickly. Deployed new hardware following a planned life cycle. Assisted in the development of IT departmental plans. Served as the alternate Organizational Computer Security Representative responsible for computer security plans and issues. Worked with classified and highly sensitive information. Updated the company’s internal web site running Internet Information Services. Developed and enhanced custom databases in MS Access. Supervised and mentored summer student employee.
