Daily Duties at Chicago Bancorp:
Communicate investor requests for title policies, recorded documents endorsements and corrections to the title company responsible for issuing the documents. Enter lock date of loan rate in Loan Handler monthly. Create monthly first payment letters in Loan Handler using Borrower Quick Update Receive and deliver documents via USPS, FEDEX, UPS or courier to the investing company within a predetermined timeframe. Review title policies and recorded documents for accuracy and order corrections when needed. Communicate delays in document delivery related to incorrect documents to management and investors. Order documents from county recorder offices. Maintain filing of in house documents. Assisted in the implementation of digital imaging of open, second, table funded & cancelled loans via physically preparing the file to be imaged and scanning the files’ individual pages. Files are organized into the sections of closing package, miscellaneous closing documents, application, appraisal, assets, credit, income, miscellaneous processing documents & underwriting. Assist in receptionist duties.
