Responsible for the registration of patients coming into the emergency room. Efficiently scheduled surgeries, procedures, verified insurance, and billing with cpt/icd9 coding. Assisted with the quality assurance of medical charts. Obtained and routed medical records with top confidentiality. Knowledge of medical staff bylaws under JCAHO,HIPPA,STATE and FEDERAL. Collected monies for co-pays and translated for medical personnel.
