Daily Duties at The Legal Support Group:
Network & System Administrator Scope: Establish, plan, and administer the architecture, policies, process flows, and goals for the corporate information technology department. Maintain computing and network environment by identifying system and network requirements. Plan, deploy and maintain a flexible and scalable IT environment to accommodate future growth; research, review, and recommend all IT purchases. Analyze the technology needs of departments and establish priorities, systems design, and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company's information processing systems. Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows 2003 Servers, corporate Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services and Portal Server, web based document depository servers, Active Directory services, security policies, system and network performance, corporate web site design and maintenance, workstations, Microsoft Office applications, TCP/IP, LAN and WiFi network devices, Mitel Voice-over-IP telephony system, HP ProCurve PoE switches, Sonicwall Firewall, network scanners and printers, across a multiple geography IT environment with a limited operating budget. Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Perform system backups and implement disaster recovery policies. Provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Service Manager Scope: Project manager and solution architect for multiple client projects, including customizing, deploying and maintaining Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services and Portal Server solutions. Design service models, support plans, and pricing models for SharePoint Services and Portal solutions and technical support services to be delivered to clients, including administration, data management, legal case management, web access for legal document and exhibits, network and server deployments.
