Daily Duties at 24/7 Sports Entertainment:
Designed, engineered and marketed the online service to over 1,000,000 visitors per month. Managed 25-30 employees whose responsibilities included selling network licensing and servicing the sports network’s customer base. Wrote daily syndicated sports articles and press releases for the network, designed and managed the 24/7 Sports website and content updates, negotiated media affiliate contracts and cultured media relationships, and cultivated and promoted 24/7 Sports’ brand image. Wrote, produced and directed a nationally televised 30 minute infomercial with Dan Majerle of the Phoenix Suns, Meadowlark Lemon of the Harlem Globetrotters, Rene Rolle of the Home Shopping Network and others. Negotiated media buys with national networks and cable TV station directors, created media kits, implemented marketing strategies, and worked with the CFO on financial reports including projections, P&L, and budgeting.
