Daily Duties at Material Science Corporations:
Provide technical leadership for a team of manufacturing technicians in a union setting. Improve all aspects of team performance including safety, quality, yield, efficiency, and inventory accountability. Train team in safety topics, operational improvement programs, and quality priorities based on customer feedback. Facilitate team problem solving for operational improvements and inventory accuracy (using AS 400 system) on journey towards operational excellence. Produce laminate and composite coiled steel that meets or exceeds customer standards in an ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 environment.
