§ 2007 Seasongood Foundation Summer Intern. Based out of Cincinnati that focused on local government and good government practices. § Worked with the Civil Service Division to prepare documents presented before the Civil Service Commission § Researched various topics as assigned by the Human Resources Director (i.e. Family Medical Leave Act.) § Developed a customer service survey to gauge the level of service provided by the Human Resources Department. § Gained a better understanding of the hiring process for Classified/Unclassified Employees, Exceptional Appointments, and civil service testing process. § Assisted Human Resources Analyst screen potential candidates for employment and staffing needs. § Worked with Equal Employment Opportunity Division on Affirmative Action Program Manuel. § Began to work with CHRIS/Peoplesoft program.
