Developed and executed proactive, communications, investor and public relations programs designed to project a favorable Corporate image and gain public support for a start-up VoIP telecommunications provider; counseled management on the public/employee relations implications of policies; Corporate spokesperson; responded to complaints, inquiries, and requests for Company information; press release content and management; developed and implemented the emarketing communications strategy (internal and external); planned advertising, and promotional communications projects to fulfill the aspects of the marketing plan; prepared and managed annual department budget; developed trade show/event strategies and schedules and coordinated related promotional project activities; contracted and served as liaison with outside Public Relations and advertising agencies; manage a team of six employees through performance and development models authorized articles and interviews regarding the Company’s promotional activities and ensured adherence to Corporate identity standards; worked with the Web Master for the development and launch of NxGen’s website; developed, planned and coordinated production of sales product training programs; developed and supervised the maintenance of the media database; evaluated research regarding new market trends and market reaction to promotional activities and recommended strategy adjustments; developed and maintained relationships with media and planned and conducted focus groups and other research to evaluate effectiveness of marketing communications.
