Daily Duties at Valleylab, A Division Of Tyco Healthcare:

Responsible for the management and delivery of effective global marketing communications to support the Company's product launches, image and brand, Public and Media relations, advertising as well as manage and develop effective teams to enhance professional development. Overall responsibilities include, managing the effectiveness and P&L of a $1.5 million marketing communications budget; the performance management and development of up to 14 direct reports (creative, project and content development) including goals setting, regular meetings and written performance appraisals; maintain and administer Company policies and procedures to support marketing communications; ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies, training of new team employees and ongoing training of subordinates; partner with senior level management in the development and execution of strategic marketing communications and advertising plans; develop and execute effective marketing communications programs that support and drive business strategies; oversee the development and implementation of corporate brand, image and graphic standards; ensure compliance of communications materials with corporate image and graphic standards; maintain primary relationships with outside vendors relating to the development, production and implementation of advertising, promotional, public relations, convention, and corporate communications programs; develop and direct all public and media relations programs and oversee and direct all communication and marketing content for Sharepoint (internal) and Content Management (external) websites.
