Daily Duties at Associated Global Systems:

Project Manager, National Account maintenance, Business Development for operations, sales, and P&L Management, and designer of new transportation product AGS Ground. I would act in a consulting role to ensure that the requirements of each customer matched up with the policies of and procedures of our company. I would develop pricing, procedures, and follow up action plans for new accounts in partnership with each customer. I would provide daily reports to senior management while monitoring routing, and service requirements for each individual customer. I would develop project and pricing plans for new accounts by working in liaison between the customer and our corporate management team. As Director of company training programs in air freight forwarding, supply chain management, logistics, and transportation I worked directly with the CEO and Executive VP in strategic training initiatives for the corporation. I developed and managed Classroom, Self Paced Study, Internet, and CBT coursework for employee and management training for OSHA, D.O.T., TSA, soft skills management training, and operations. I also filled the role of Operations Management and Terminal Manager to ensure there was no break in service or quality when the position became open throughout company in terminals in the United States. I would manage the Terminal while hiring and training the new Terminal Manager. In addition to this role I was the company Operations and Engineering Troubleshooter. Whenever a Company Terminal struggled with productivity, quality, or service I would go to that location and work with the staff in a consulting role to determine a root cause and action plan to solve the problem.
