Rate Calc Administrator/ Administrative Assistant§ Input censuses for the Underwriting department. Calculate the manual rates for life and disability cases. File, run reports, and basic admin duties.Short Term Disability Admin§ Input claims into system. Made decision based on medical info received. Called employers, employees, physicians and sales reps to get info needed to update claims. Wrote letters to claimants and employers to keep them updated. Reviewed client policies and insurance laws to make decisions. Individual caseload of 75 clients.
