Daily Duties at Aviva Life Usa:

• Assists in conceptual design of basic technical developments and enhancement’s. • Provides user documentation of new system’s, conducts training classes and provides technical trouble shooting assistance as needed. • Examines current operating environment and identifies areas for improvements. • Participates in feasibility study for standard development projects and enhancements. • Manages segmented responsibilities of projects under minimal supervision • Responsible for solving standard system and operational problems. • Investigates and documents systems problems. • Monitors quality of deliverables and services and seeks quality review of work performed. • Coordinates in-house procedures during implementation of product/service modifications. • Assists in special projects as required. • Mentor to a group of three QA testers. • Leads multiple projects at one time. • Conduct walkthroughs with QA, development and BSA staff on test materials. • Keep current with requirement changes during development phases. • Attend Functional Specification and Design Walkthroughs. • Record and analyze outcome of each test • Analyze Software failures, and accurately record findings in the Issue’s Database • Keep Project Manager updated on the status of testing. • Provide estimates for assigned tasks. • Meet or exceed the scheduled dates for assignments. • Attend status meetings and prepare weekly status reports. • Create, maintain and execute Regression Test Plans • Provide training and assistance to team members • Monitor progress of testing, and make necessary changes to test plans to ensure quality results and meet scheduled dates. • Keep project manager and QA manager informed of problems and issues and offer solutions to these problems and issues. • Work with project team to determine full extent of ramifications to current and existing test plans due to changes to function specifications. • Develop and present information to QA on areas of expertise.
