Daily Duties at Belk Department Store:

Handle all aspects of Human Resources for up to 125 staff. This included, but was not limited to recruitment, interviewing, hiring, benefit administration, terminations, disciplinary action, payroll management, workers' compensation, new hire orientation, customer service training, and ensured that all state and federal laws are met. Provided back-up coverage for cash office operations. Provided office management including accounts payable, supply ordering and office equipment maintenance. Provided administrative support to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers. Travel as needed to train new Human Resource Managers throughout the Western Division.
