Daily Duties at Donna Y. Calcote, P.C:
Manage support services for Sole practitioner in the areas of Family Law, Personal Injury, Estate Matters and Criminal Law. Direct and coordinate law office activities, generating correspondence, legal briefs, memorandums of support, pleadings, appeals and other legal documents. Extensive interaction with Courts, clients, attorneys and pro se clients. Coordinate and perform office administrative activities and ensure that information is disseminated to staff and clients. Hire, train and supervise office personnel. Routinely work in high volume conditions with confidential, time sensitive information and materials,Gather facts and prepare files and discovery for formulating a defense or for attorney to initiate a legal action. Control procedures for handling general litigation case management, research and trial preparation. Conduct research for and maintain document filing system; direct delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties of action. Monitor the legal volumes to ensure that law library is up-to-date.
