Daily Duties at Avalon Bay Communities:
Assist a team of 15 Accounts Payable Analysts and 3 Mangers with daily and special tasks. Responsible for the distribution of all incoming and outgoing mail including vendor invoices to allow for timely processing. Prepare and distribute 700+ checks to Vendors, Residents and Employees by attaching proper remittance, obtaining required signatures and applying proper postage. Processed vendor invoices for 14 communities and served as their main point of contact for accounts payable issues. Maintained department supplies by forecasting the needs of the department, taking a weekly inventory and replenished as needed.
