• Applied training and policy contract knowledge necessary to perform the job of Senior Field Claims Adjuster • Exercised sound judgment regarding claims settlement value, factors of liability, settlement, and negotiations. • Interfaced effectively with the general public, public officials and personnel of other companies and businesses during the claims process through strong communication skills. • Reviewed and analyzed assignments and information on reported claims from agents, claimants, policy holders, and other Farmers claim personnel for purposes of determining the proper course of action. • Interpreted, evaluated, and wrote structural damage estimates. • Provided direction to agents, policy holders, attorneys and claimants for the disposition of claims. This included obtaining medical information, disposition of medical bills and disability benefits, verification of values, and depreciation. • Inspected property claims which included obtaining the measurements of the roof and living areas, the inspection of attics, crawl spaces, and other claim locations as applicable.
