· Procure merchandise in the appropriate quantities and develop assortment plans according to OTB · Analyze weekly reports for future merchandise decisions · Maintain an active role with the Planner to ensure appropriate levels of inventory and place re-orders to chase trends · Assist in managing vendor performance and develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability and achieve financial objectives · Develop assortments focusing on key classifications from various vendors · Shop the market and select new items by delivering a balanced core assortment with a seasonal presentation and key item focus · Maintain and continue to build strong vendor relationships · Competitively shop to recognize and respond to changing trends in the market · Work with merchandising team to achieve higher conversions with website navigation revisions · Responsible for day to day managing, planning and executing the department as well as processing of all paperwork, orders and vendor communication
