Daily Duties at Cellular One:

Starting new in this career field as a Cellular Technician, I was trained to effectively provide maintenance and support for 13 counties, 125 separate Cellular Sites and 3 Cellular Technologies. Once becoming proficient in Cellular Maintenance, Field Operations Manager was my next role. The objective was the same, the integrity of our market, however; more responsibility and decisiveness was needed. Lastly, Construction and Maintenance Manager Position became available and I welcomed the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and objectives. • As Construction and Maintenance Manager I organized, scheduled and oversaw all construction for our Central Texas Market ranging from new builds to preventative maintenance. In accordance to FCC, FAA, State, County and other Vendor regulations, I obtained, completed and filed proper forms and applications. • As Field Operations Manager I managed and maintained the integrity of our market threw guidance and training for our Cellular Technicians and with the coordination of local NOC and other outside service providers. Also designed, conducted and completed necessary reports, meetings and training for outages, new builds, wages and safety • As Cellular Technician I installed, maintained and repaired when applicable; Motorola AMPS DynaTac Series equipment, Lucent TDMA Series I & II equipment, Ericsson RBS 2102/2202 & 2106/2206 equipment, Power plants for AC-DC & DC-DC, Backup Battery stations, (Aries, Adtran, Lynxx, CAC) Microwave equipment 1x thru DS3, lighting controllers and monitoring systems, Multicouplers, DSU, CSU and other T-1 Service packages
