Daily Duties at Wellstar:
Currently working for company Responsible for providing technical assistance and exercise training to patients of Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and occasional assistance to Speech Therapist. I train newly hired technicians to work in all areas of rehabilitation. I managed the inventory and ordering of supplies for the entire facility. I also assisted with aquatic therapy and wound care. In aquatic therapy I assisted the therapist in planning and implementing exercise programs for various conditions. I also provided support in the front office with administrative duties such calling doctors offices to obtain ICD -9 codes, prescriptions, and Medicare certificates, pulling patient charts, helping patients with registration and filling out paperwork, patient intakes on the computer, scheduling appointments, processing co-pays, answering phones, faxing, filing charts, and copying.
