Daily Duties at Boston Park Plaza Hotels & Towers Boston, Ma :
Assigned daily schedule sheets to Maintenance Attendants. Inspect guest rooms before the arrival of the guest to be sure proper maintenance and services are made. Teaching the Room Maintenance Attendant on how to achieve the standard of the hotel rooms Responsible for accurate and complete cleaning and room preparation for guests. Respond to guest request for immediate repairs. Troubleshoot, repairs or replacing faulty equipments or appliances. Reporting substandard items found in each floor to the Shift Manager for proper accountability and quick repairs. Routine maintenance throughout the properties including vacuuming carpet, inspect electrical and electronic equipment in the guest rooms. Ability to lift a reasonable 50 to 60lbs equipment. climbing and scaffolding. Taken safety as a priority in work area. Reporting loss items to immediate supervisor. Announcing ones presence, enter guest rooms in accordance with standards and procedures of the establishment . Smile, acknowledge and greet guests in room or in the hallway when passing.
