General Manager of a single store franchise, I was responsible for full P&L budgeting, accountability, and analysis. I was accountable for staffing, (hourly and management) scheduling a staff of as many as 70 to maintain standards of product quality and customer service set forth by the company. I was responsible for obtaining vendors, and purchasing to maximize food cost opportunities and raw product quality, and maintaining appropriate stock levels for forecasted sales. My duties included evaluating sales trends and developing marketing plans to maximize my advertising / marketing budget, and tracking the impact on the business. Labor management and training to meet company guidelines were essential to profitability. Ending salary was $31,000 annually.
