Daily Duties at E*Assist, Llc:
Operations Manager: Provide leadership in diverse areas of operations including defining project scopes, delegating roles and recommending products for procurement. Supervise 2 direct reports. Authorize vacation days, develop career paths and make decisions regarding bonus awards and any wage increases. Ensure continuous operations of the network and maintain its health and continual availability via monitoring. Execute a wide range of daily activities including reviewing firewall and IDS (intrusion detection system) logs, performing system backups and making sure that applications run according to specifications. Maintain, troubleshoot and administer MySQL database servers. Oversee quality and functionality of new production software code releases. Interact with clients on complex issues. Seek out ways to ensure quality of service and improve network performance on a continual basis. Deliver comprehensive training to staff on existing and new technologies. Author training materials and documentation for customers. Participate in change management reviews. Collaborate with diverse internal groups. Offer technical expertise during sales calls. Research new technology and assess whether or not it could provide benefits to the company. Assess and update policies and implement changes as necessary.
