Daily Duties at James River Recruiting Company:

Duties: Manage company mission accomplishment plans which include managing appointments, accounting for appointments, validating tester’s performances, accounting for applicants and the accountability of applicants contracted. Manage daily Army Recruiting processing logs, validating recruits who are processing into the Army. This report informs the Commander and First Sergeant who was contacted at what time and the results of the contact. Manage Future Soldier Tracking processing logs, validating enlisted soldiers who have enlisted into the Army. Process reports from the log identifying soldiers’ whereabouts from the date of enlistment to the moment the soldier is given a military occupations specialty. Manage the daily Hometown Recruiting Assistance Program (HRAP). This report informs the Battalion who they have in the HRAP. Manage the mission board for the command and first sergeant. Identifies mission tracking numbers, tracking future solider losses by category, name, date taken, recruiter and reason or loss. Receive and process all incoming company, battalion, brigade, and USAREC correspondence and actions. Determine correct action office, sets suspense’s and distribute requirements. Takes action on correspondence and set special or priority actions assigned by the company commander. Reviews actions to identify the key issues involved or data required. . Proofreads/edits correspondence and documents for correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and format. Uses specialized regulations and policy and precedent to determine valid parameters for all outgoing response. Knowledge of extensive rules, procedures, operations, or applied to secretarial and clerical assignments to perform the procedural and administrative work of the office, preparing and editing documents, maintaining files/records, and making and preparing travel arrangements, and locating and assembling information for various reports
