Customer Service Associate V (04/05 – Present) AMP NETCONNECT is a subsidiary of Tyco Electronics, Inc. and manufactures end-to-end structured cabling (networking) solutions. In this role, I use the technical knowledge of AMP NETCONNECT products and services to perform the following: - Provide technical product assistance directly to customers and sales force via phone or e-mail. - Web administration, including creating/preparing photos and graphics for websites, editing/creating static and dynamic web pages for websites, and database and document organization and admin. - Provide pre/post-sale project support in the form of technical assistance, competitive cross references, concept design and bill-of-materials generation. - Review and provide technical feedback on pre-production artwork and literature. - Coordinate photo shoots and digitally edit photos as needed for marketing, literature and web. - Provide feed back to product managers and engineers from customers and sales force on design shortfalls or suggested improvements. - Maintain sample pool for use by sales force, in trade shows, and for customer testing.
