Daily Duties at Hr Consultant:
• Consulted with clients to ensure their HR documents were compliant with federal and state laws • Developed employee handbooks • Wrote and designed policy and procedure manuals • Counseled clients in regards to terminating employees, lay-off procedures and performance improvement plans • Ensured legal risk was minimized by assisting management in determining employees to be severed and collating severance packages • Instructed management on how to comply with FMLA regulations
