Daily Duties at Greyhound Lines, Inc:

Title: Network Analyst / E-Mail Admin. Environment - Network environment consisted of multi-platforms such as Microsoft Windows, Novell, AS400 and Tandem systems for 3000+ users. IIS Web Server experience in support of Web user community. Work Load balancing for SQL Server environment. First level support to the Helpdesk for User issues, or determine what department is need to correct the issue.. Responsibilities: • Worked HEAT ticket system queue to resolve customer issues in a timely manner, or delegate to other peers or departments. • Create, modification, or deletion of Windows, Novell, AS400, & GroupWise users. • Performed network printers (bindery/NDS) as needed. {Jetadmin & Telnet} • Performed various data file restores or located lost as requested by the customer. Utilized VERITAS {Symantec}, Tivoli/TMS, Filer {Novell}, or Archserve backup applications. • Performed various installations, upgrades and/or updates to Microsoft and Novell O/S's. • Performed various installations, upgrades or updates on GroupWise E-mail Systems. • Provided second-level support for Greyhound’s national Support Center. • Troubleshot and resolved server related technical issues. • Working understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, IP and IPX • Some experience with mobile computing devices that synchronizes with the Electronic messaging environment {Blackberries}. • IIS Server experience enabling Script and Content changes for numerous Web sites. • SQL Server load balancing on M.S. servers (2000 & 2003).
