Daily Duties at Avaya, Inc.:

Avaya, Inc. (Formerly Lucent Technologies) 2000-2003 Supervisor/Program Manager ? Program Manager - supervised a project management team of 23 remote data Project Managers, responsible for successful implementation of medium to large network solutions. ? Responsible for responding to RFP’s from customers requesting Project Management Services. This included developing the Statement of Work and pricing of requested services for the project/program. ? Program Management responsibilities for large customers purchasing services from Avaya. This includes planning, scheduling, directing and controlling of activities and efforts, based on a defined Scope of Work. ? Managing the change control process, responding to changes from original specifications ? Develop risk assessment and risk management plans. ? Identify milestones and all tasks required to meet the defined project deliverables. ? Prepare and review status reports by project personnel, modifying the schedules and/or plans ? Created the Avaya Project Management marketing brochure and a PM team web site to be used as a services selling point to external customers. ? Lead role in strategic planning, providing direction, communication and stakeholder accountability.
