- Assign receiving classifications codes by verifying condition of material - Assign stock positioning codes based on type of material received - Verify accuracy of receiving documents and determine material disposition by identifying completeness of items and evaluating repair requirements - Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments - Select, store, stack and palletize items based on their use, size, shape, quantity and possibility of contamination - Utilize extensive computer skills to receive and transmit pick and stow data into the Distribution Standard System (DSS) - Check transportation control numbers, stock, quantity, weight, cube, priority and other codes describing material - Pack and repack a variety of items for shipment utilizing a wide variety of standard packing materials - Use computer systems to process receipts and stow material - Utilized Distribution Standard System to process material into inventory - Extensive knowledge in Fedex, UPS, and DHL online shipping - Locate and expedite lost or misplaced shipments - Verify shipping and delivery time to ensure timely deliveries - Utilize wide range of material handling equipment
